Curacao, an often overlooked gem located in the southeastern Caribbean, is part of the ABC island group (together with Aruba and Bonaire) in the Netherlands Antilles. It has a fascinating Euro-Caribbean culture and architecture, gorgeous underwater scenery, and many unique activities in addition to its world class scuba diving.

Lion’s Dive and Beach Resort

Lions Dive is located on its own beautiful white sandy beach, just a 5 minute car ride away from the city center of Willemstad, with its world-renowned colorful Dutch-Caribbean architecture and its multitude of historical monuments that have earned the city a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Its spacious, yet quiet and shaded private beach is part of Mambo Beach, the longest white sandy beach in Curaçao. Just a few footsteps away, is Mambo Beach Boulevard, with its wide array of bars, restaurants and shops.

The Diving

Ocean Encounters, the on-site dive and snorkeling operator at Lions Dive, is a renowned SSI and PADI Dive Center. It is located at the marina of the resort, with a magnificent house reef just fin kicks from the beach. The fringing reefs of Curaçao are some of the healthiest and most bio-diverse in the entire Caribbean region.  The Tugboat wreck is a dive site located in only five meters of water and is feasible as a diver or snorkeler. You can also dive along the wall and explore an underwater cliff. Other major dive sites include the MV Superior Producer, Klein Curaçao, Mushroom Forest, and of course, The Blue Room which is an essential Curaçao experience!

Under the water and depending on the time of year, you will see an incredible array of life and color which will include sea turtles, rays, dolphins, sharks, eels, and species of fish that are exclusive to Curacao.

A $500 non refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Space is limited. Changes to package and cancellation penalties do exist. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
